After being treated extremely poorly by the repair company our warranty company sent I was told to research and find my repairer. After seeing the good recommendations, I opted to try Jays. Jay himself came to my house promptly as scheduled, assessed our refrigerator and waited patiently for the warranty company to answer my phone call and approve the repairs. He ordered the parts (which arrived much sooner than estimated) and returned to complete the repairs. He was also able to diagnose a totally new issue with our over-stove microwave and had the required part on his truck and completed this emergent repairs in 10 minutes. Professional, quality service provider, highly recommended!!!

I was referred to Jay's by another company that did not work on my brand of appliance. I am delighted with the service I recieved. Jay has been here twice on two separate issues and both times, resolved the issue. If you are looking for someone who is honest, dependable and knowledgeable then these are the folks to call.

Have used Jay's Appliance Repair twice, once for washer repair and once for refrigerator repair. I could not be more pleased. Their response time was exceptional. Jay diagnosed the problem quickly, obviously knew what he was doing, had the necessary part on his truck, and finished the repair expeditiously. Charges were very reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend their services. I will use them again the next time I need something repaired.

Schedule appointment was for a Friday between 3 and 7 PM. Jay showed up at seven and evaluated my washing machine. He was upfront saying it would be very expensive to fix versus buying a new one. He took the time to explain in his opinion what's the best brand was out there to buy.

I was impressed with the friendly service. Anybody who is willing to work at 7pm on a Friday and still had another service call to take care of is dedicated.

You would be crazy to not use them. I know people don't like waiting around for a service call, but trust me it was worth the wait.

I hope I do not have to call and appliance person again. But if I do it will definitely be Jay's Appliance

DO NOT USE this man! The owner, Jay himself, came into my house with a HORRIBLE attitude and provided NO HELP! He did not help at all he only talked down to us as if we could not understand what he was saying. He talked over us and did not allow us to tell him what was wrong. He then said "You can kiss my rear-end'. I do not have to help you" and stormed out of the house. It appeared that he was a racist and did not want to help. PLEASE TRUST ME AND USE SOMEONE ELSE!!

Great company. Refrigerator went out, called Jays, gave them info on my fridge and problem. That is all it took. Jay showed up, knew what the problem was, had the part on his truck and had me repaired in no time. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with. The main man, Jay, is rude, degrading, disrespectful and hurtful. He has no regard for other people and only cares about himself. Screamed and yelled at me over the phone twice. Became revengeful and didnt show up for an appointment with me out of spite. The rudest and biggest a-hole I have ever encountered.

I had been waiting almost 3 weeks (too long) for my appliance guy to come out and repair my washer after he came out to determine what the problem was. After texting with him over the last couple of weeks, I decided to look for a new appliance repair person. I submitted my problem online, he called me the next day and came out that afternoon. Quickly determined what the problem was, and was back the next day and repaired my washer! As a Military Wife I have to learn by trial and error everytime we move who you can trust in business. Every dollar and minute count to our family. I called Jay for a broken Dryer and Garbarge Disposal. It took him a few days to get to us, but it was worth the wait. Not only was he very curteous he was quick and friendly. He was done with both appliances in less than and hour and charged us a reasonable price. I will definately be saving his number! Thanks so much Jay and thank you for being so kind to my son. Boy do I have good news for anybody needing an appliance repaired! My refrigerator died and naturally I was stressed out needing it to work to save all my food! I called Jay's Appliance having not ever heard of him and really needing someone I can rely on and I certainly did not want to be overcharged! Well friends, let me tell you, I am SO very glad I called Jay. Like most people I am desperate to know a repair company that is trustworthy and honest and skilled! A honest repair service is GOLDEN!!! And Jay's company is all that and more. He arrived at my house right on time--unheard of! Jay is one of the best around! In 30 minutes after two weeks of losing food in our fridge and another man( Mike's appliances) being at my house, Jay had it fixed and was out the door. No mess like the last guy, no load of towels from water all over the floor! This is the second time we have had Jay come to our house, and he is reliable, friendly, knowledgable, and most of all HONEST! I don't mind paying for something that is done right I do mind being ripped off by Mike last week! Thanks for fixing our fridge and allowing me to keep my business local!

Excellent service! very knowledgeable, professional and efficient. He was on time and diagnosed the problem quickly with my fridge. He had the part and fixed it. He even gave me some time to clean up behind the fridge since he had it pulled out while he got my ticket together. I will definitely recommend him and use them again.

August 16, 2011 I called Jay's Appliance after reading his positive reviews and noticing that he was located in my city, Suffolk. I had a problem with my microwave and he was out the next morning to diagnose my problem. He did not have the part on his truck but he quickly got the part and returned the next day to repair my microwave. While at my home, he also repaired a faulty part on my washer that I had put off for months. All this was done for very reasonable costs. He kept me informed and called to make an appointment after the part was secured. Jay was always there when he said he would be and was very personable.
