- Primary CareWow what a great staff and doctor, all the way from the front desk check in to the xray technician! After a cycling accident on July 4th, I woke up in the hospital with a broken collarbone. Although an orthopaedic doctor checked in on me the next day, I had my primary care physician refer me to Dr. Schultz. I had seen Dr. Schultz a few years before and after a referral to PT, my shoulder was back to normal, so I knew he was an exceptional surgeon and doctor. My clavicle frature surgery was on July 25th and from the pre-op visits to the post op follow up visits, the entire experience has been positive and professional. My surgery was very successful and I am back to cycling and paddle boarding activities after 9 weeks post op. I was very anxious about having surgery and the staff and doctors made it a very calming experience. I highly recommend Dr. Schultz and the entire staff at California Orthopaedic Institute. Thank you Dr. Schultz for going above and beyond in answering all my questions and reassuring me through the entire process.
- Carpal Tunnel SyndromeI was having a lot of pain due to a carpal tunnel injury of my left hand and needed to have surgery quick as I was moving out of town. I did not want to wait to look for a surgeon after my move. Dr. Mohler's assistant asked Dr. Mohler if he would work on his day off to accommodate my schedule. He agreed and performed the surgery on his day off, so I could move as planned. I am very appreciative for Dr. Mohler's kindness and agreeing to perform surgery with very little notice. He sent me to see a neurologist the morning of my surgery to confirm his diagnosis and performed surgery that same afternoon! Great doctor! Great service!

- OrthopedicsGood Day. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to show up for an MRI appointment this week and meet Kevin Rainey, the MRI Technologist, and Maribel Cardenas, the receptionist. Kevin, wearing a Kansas City Chiefs sweater, scarf and cap, stood before KC balloons and a helmet. Maribel was at the computer. Both were smiling as they welcomed me to their world. The very first person you meet in any organization - be it a CEO or janitor - sets the tone for how one feels about that organization. We are all in the customer service business. Kevin and Maribel represent the best of California Orthopedics. And one other thing - don't take down the paintings by Kevin's friend (Chris "Mempinman" Mempin) that hang on the wall. It's a great art gallery. Thanks for employing people like Kevin and Maribel, as well as Francesca in PT and Dr. Jeffrey Schultz.
- ArthroscopyI put off having a Total Knee Replacement surgery for almost 10 years because I was scared that I might not have any relief just like when I had Arthroscopy in 2006 after which, I continued to have knee pain. I went through steroid injections & took Alleve, Advil & Glucosamine for pain and discomfort. Finally at 71 yrs. old, I made a decision to have my surgery and was referred to Dr. Adsit. I was scared, anxious and still not sure about going through with it. The first time I met Dr. Adsit, I knew and felt that I was in good hands. He listened to my concerns and made me feel so at ease and comfortable. His professionalism is a pride to the Medical profession. I would highly recommend him to anyone! I also want to acknowledge the staff and especially Dr. Adsit's assistant, Mary who has helped me so much going through this journey in my life. I am still recuperating since my surgery in Jan. 2017...I know that I will be "up and running" in due time. From the bottom of my heart, a million thanks!

- Hand SurgeryI would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Quinn and his friendly, professional staff of excellence. I've been seeing Dr. Quinn for the past two months and I'm happy to have developed a great rapport with Dr. Quinn, his assistant, JACKIE, and the wonderful, warm staff up front at the front desk. This is not just an "institute." No. This feels like a TEAM of great, caring friends who want me to feel better. And I do! I cannot send a more praiseworthy note to the staff of California Orthopaedic Institute. I am very grateful to Dr. Quinn, Dr. Randy Mohler for my hand surgery (three years ago) and the entire fabulous staff at Cal. Ortho. Institute. I cannot recommend a better care center for the hand, foot, or any other appropriate appendage that needs love and care to heal fully. I recommend this haven of care above all others.

Through his excellent diagnosis & procedures along with a total hip replacement, he got me out of constant severe pain that I had been in for a very long, long time! How great it is to move & walk free of pain now. I love and respect Dr. Adsit and am grateful everyday the HE was my surgeon.
- Knee ReplacementMy name is Dan P, I recently had a Total Knee Replacement at Mercy Hospital. Here we are, a scant 10 weeks later, and I'm bicycling 25 miles, flexing 141 degrees, and have been pain free for 5 weeks or so. It's really been a remarkable recovery and I am a happy, happy patient.

- Physical TherapyI finished my physical therapy sessions today with Francesca. She is a superb therapist!!!! I could not have asked for better. I am 72 years old, had a long break in my fifth metatarsal, surgery with plate and screws, and 10 weeks non-weight bearing. Francesca brought me from a scared, weak, unbalanced, sore, swollen footed self to a confident, balanced, strong, normal footed self! She provided excellent visual aids, so I could do exercises at home. And she gave me hope when I had none. And during our sessions, her massages of my foot and demonstrations were excellent. She never compared me to anyone else but instead took me from where I was to where she and I wanted me to be. I consider myself stronger than I was before surgery. She is truly an outstanding
