Signed up for service end of July. As of last week, 3 out of 5 weeks, our recyclables weren't picked up. We have called and filed complaints. Each time, the driver says the recycle bin was not out. That is not true, we put it out with the trash bin every week. Called today to cancel and asked for refund for remaining 2 months of service we would not receive. They told us the company policy was for NO REFUNDS. That's illegal. I filed a charge back on my debit card and will be filing a complaint with the town and Better Business Bureau. There are better companies out there. DO NOT use them.

We have had Heberle picking up our trash for 21 years. For the past year we have had nothing but trouble, Our recycle bin is left almost every week, When we call, they act as if we are bothering them and we wait for 2 more days before it is picked up. This has been going on for months and we still cannot get any satisfaction. During this most recent Holiday, they were running 1 day behind which was understandable. My trash is still sitting out front of my home 3 days later. We did have a snowstorm, but all the other trash collectors were on our street when they should have bee not Heberle, 3 days and still waiting after several calls. We have been told trucks are running every day to catch up. I fail to believe this any more. You cannot talk to the owner anymore. Sadly it is time for a change. DO NOT hire them

We called their customer service about incident and never heard back about the outcome. Now recycling forgotten two weeks in a row and person on the phone told me that she will put a reminder in the file for September! I don't think anyone really cares about our garbage!!

just paid a $250,000 fine. owner caught in lie. chief financial officer is probably next . used to be a good company.

We have been customers of Heberle for so many years that I can't remember when we hired them. It was wonderful service with no complaints. Then they hired a "chief financial officer" that takes all calls for the owner (wonder what happened to him). I received a phone call reminding me to pay my bill that wasn't even due yet. I asked to speak to someone because i thought anyone that's hurting for money that bad that they would call before a bill is due, must be in trouble. I asked that question and got an answer that didn't make sense. This woman should not be dealing with the public, especially the older public. Make sure you don't pay in advance with this company . I left several messages for the owner and it seems the "chief financial officer " is taking the calls before they reach the owner.

We were the only house on the street with Heberle and they constantly forgot to pick up our garbage. After a year of service where they should have picked up our garbage 52 times I can say they came less than half. When my husband called to ask from some sort of a deal for getting half service she said "Why don't you just cancel". So their customer service stinks too.

After calling in to put a complaint in, they were able to correct the problem the next business day. Thank you.

when i first got this co. everything was fine. then they bought another co. then everything went south. put your stuff out whether it was recycle or disposal they came when they had time. i always paid in full. but enough was enough. i canceled them after 2 months & 3 weeks. i was told i would get my refund in 2 weeks. -- than a month-- then it was in the mail . i have called many times it's still in the mail. i canceled on March 18- 08 it is now May 6, 08 it still is in the mail. i think it is coming by pony express, or like everything else from a slow boat from China. if i was ever late to pay them i would be charged a late charge. this is so uncalled for. so if your thinking about getting there service think about it a little more. i changed to boon& sons -- so far so good we will see.

I have used there service for 5 years. They are awesome. I have forgotten to put out my tote and they have come up to the house and got it for me.

I have read your news letters and many times thought to myself "I need to write and express our kudos to Heberle". We have selected Heberle since 1974 to 1988 and 1998 to present. When we lived in an Association managed community we had another national know company. Your crews all have a personable courteous attitude. We have been renovating our current home since 1998. Heberle has never made disposing of our building materials or trash difficult or painful. Just yesterday (Tuesday) following the New Years Holiday I was carrying drywall and other discarded building scraps to the curb preparing for the alternate Holiday pickup. To my surprise the Heberlly Truck was a few coming within a few houses from our driveway. The crew didn't show any disappointment to the stacked material. When they pulled up to the driveway they both smiled and greeted me with a hello, all while not missing a beat as they loaded the truck. I am sure my volume was the last thing they wished to handle that late.
