I originally had a great review for this practice. I must say that the office staff is very kind and helpful, as are most of the dentists. Their hours are convenient. My problem is with their billing and office policies. They intentionally over charge you, regardless of what your insurance will cover. They are fully aware of what your insurance will, and will not cover. They have a set percentage that they charge the patient for out of pocket, and it is ALWAYS more then you are actually responsible for, leaving you with a "refund" on your account. They specifically told me that they WILL NOT REFUND THE MONEY UNLESS YOU ASK FOR IT. That means that you must review your insurance statement, and compare it to what you actually paid them. The fact is, most people don't do that. They assume the dentist is charging you the right amount (I assumed this as well). I have requested a refund several times. After several requests, still no refund. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
They didn't tell me about paying up front either. In fact they told me on the phone that they DO accept my insurance. (BCBS) Then after driving 45 miles to get there they tell me that they "can't verify my insurance" so I need to pay up front and wait to be reimbursed by my insurance. When I questioned this, I was told, "actually this is our policy." When I asked why they didn't inform me of this prior to driving 45 miles the answer was, "You didn't ask." Underhanded, misleading, sneaky, and extremely unprofessional.

very nice staff, but they neglected to mention on the phone that you have to pay up front. It would have been nice to know before I payed my co-pay (which I could have spent elsewhere that does sent out bills) to have them tell me my tooth needs to be pulled (which I already figured) and then leave because I didn't have all the money up front.
