      THE VILLAGE CHIMNEY SWEEP is Family Owned and Operated by Don and Andrea Richards. Andrea s father started JOHN CREECH CHIMNEY SWEEP in 1980. In those early years John often worked with chimney sweep pioneer and a founding member of The National Chimney Sweep Guild, Don Leavitt. Don came under John s tutelage in 1987 and has been sweeping ever since. Don and his wife Andrea, purchased the company in 1994 and in 1998 changed the name to THE VILLAGE CHIMNEY SWEEP.
