Disappointed

Heard the prices were high but didn't mind because we heard the food was great. I have to say the food was excellent but left hungry due to the extremely small portions. Also the service was terrible.Waiter only checked on us one time and we ran out of our beverage twice. If you don't mind spending alot of money for very little food and bad service this place is for you.

Absolutely top-notch. I've not yet been to the new location, but have been to the old one many times. Given the extraordinary food, service, ambience, my feeling is that the prices are right on target. This restaurant compares favorably to the best restaurants in San Francisco, where I'd probably have to pay twice the amount for the same meal. My favorite entree is the Dover Sole, which is not always available. I try to call ahead to see if I can make sure when it's going to be there and then make reservations accordingly. They also have wonderful crab cakes. Easily comparable to the best I've had at the shore in Maryland and Virginia. The side dishes are described as "family sized" so that they can feed several people, providing one realizes that it is just a side dish. The soups, salads and breads are fabulous. My absolute favorite desert is the creme brulee.....just heavenly. For the best seafood and fish, this is the place to come.

oceanaire is the best

I like lobster. I had the best at the oceanaire with my wife and four kids after the holidazzle parade. Service was great. This is an affordable experience.Troy

EXCELLENT SEAFOOD

This is one of my most favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. The crab cakes are out of this world. They have a great wine list as well.

Great Seafood, Wonderful Atmosphere (a little loud), Fun Servers

Our server was very knowledgable and I had a great meal by following his advise. We had cocktail shrimp to start and it may be the best I have ever had. The seafood is flown in daily and it shows. Great overall experience.
