Provided by YP.comI had the Kung Pao Chicken. I am amazed by the fact that I have had this exact same meal at 5 or 6 different restaurants. Why is it that most Chinese food restaurants in Lincoln, NE can't be creative? If you have eaten at China House, you have eaten at Hong Kong. If you have eaten at China Inn, you have eaten at Hong Kong. If you have eaten at China Palace, you have eaten at Hong Kong. Why? Are they all owned by the same person? Do they use the same supplier? Is there a "Safe for Nebraskans' Palates Cookbook?"
The food is very generic. The flavor is, at best, fine. Kung Pao is supposedly spicy. Mine was not. The rice was white. Just white. The service was good. The prices are average. The portions are generous. I don't have complaints about anything except for the fact that I wouldn't go out of my way for their food. It is like going to McDonald's for an awesome burger... it doesn't happen. We go to McDonald's for the familiarity. Hong Kong has joined the McDonald's of Lincoln Chinese restaurants.
