I HIGHLY recommend Plaza Animal Clinic. I have been taking my animals to Dr. Mountain for about 15 years. She is awesome. We moved to southern Johnson County and still drive all the way to the Plaza to get our animals' check-ups. I've had to have two of our cats put down this year within a couple months of each other (they were both elderly), and her and her staff were so professional and very caring. Both Dr. Mountain and Dr. Wages-Nichols are great.

My dog had complications from a surgery at another facility, so I called Plaza Animal Clinic because they were the closest to my house. They got me an appointment within an hour, and Dr. Mountain couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Being a new dog owner, I had about a zillion questions (from what kind of toys my pup should play with to what breed she might be) and Dr. Mountain answered each one knowledgeably and patiently. I found their prices (for the exam and the medications) to be fair, and the whole staff was friendly and helpful. All that said, I will definitely be making Plaza Animal Clinic my go-to vet from now on.

Dr. Mountain is one of the best vets I've ever visited. She is compassionate and caring, as well as a skilled physician. I moved a few years ago, so she is much further away, but I still bring my animals there.
