I tell people if you get really sick in Vegas get to California ASAP! Ever since Dignaty Health bought the St. Rose Hospitals it has been terrible. I kept going in with chest pains and they did an EKG and say well it's not your heart! Then send me home. I was so degected and didn't know what to do! I got referred to Rita Chuang, M.D. and seen fast and she ordered a bunch of tests. Before I got back I was in the hospital again but this time I wasn't leaving until it was fixed. Pericarditis that became a plural effusion!
Dr. Chuang did all sorts of tests and when I got back to her a week or so later, she had bad news. As my labs were getting done and she was being notified and ordering additional tests, she had a diagnosis for me. She was more upset than I was!! I was to a point that I was glad it had a name! So now Lupus SLE is the enemy! During that previous week moving details were set I couldn't fly due to the pericarditis! She saved my life and I thank her so much!

My wife, being seen to follow up a pelvis fracture sustained in a fall, was treated in a very unprofessionally. We sat in the waiting room for about half an hour until taken into the examination room where we waited for another half hour. Dr. Chuang did not properly examine her patient and seemed more interested in getting out of the room to see another patient. In my opinion, she is incompetent We are looking for another doctor.
