Since Bob Lawson founded The Lawson Companies in 1972, our mission has remained the same: to positively impact the communities we serve. In his more than 30 years at the helm, Mr. Lawson built â?? along with thousands of housing units and millionsâ?? worth of development â?? an impeccable reputation for integrity and excellence. The companyâ??s expertise has grown to include everything from affordable housing development to single-family construction. In 1999, Bobâ??s son Steve was appointed president of The Lawson Companies. Under his leadership, the company has more than doubled its apartment portfolio and closed more than $335 million in construction and development transactions in both multifamily and single-family markets.
