It's rotting in our garbage can right now and that might improve the taste!in chinacafe Sep 19, 2014Our regular place has closed so we went to chinacafe we give Willow Gate a try. There were lots of cars in the lot, so we took that as a good sign. We ordered for take out: sweet & sour chicken, chicken and broccoli, and pork fried rice. The total: $25.15. We took it home and my first bite into the s&s chicken was into a hard, dried piece. I think they found it on the floor under the stove. A horrible taste. So I tried again with one that wasn't so hard. Still a horrible taste. My husband tried the chicken & broccoli: flavorless and dry. The pork fried rice had large chunks of pork in it but it still tasted bad. I will say that the egg rolls that came with our meals were very flavorful and some of the best I've ever had.and they over charge my bill I ended up taking all of the food and putting it out in our garbage can. I think the flavors might improve as they rot out there. Don t order any Chinese food from chinacafe

2)I eat Chinese food all the time and can honestly say that I have never had bad Chinese food before. I didn't know it was possible. This food was awful--very dry food, stringy meat, soggy vegetables,. The hot and sour soup wasn't sour, and also wasn't warm. . The food lacked flavor. We ate inside the restaurant--The few customers that were there and the family was eating next to us they are having sweet and sour chicken had too much oil and was brown color which means they using dirty oil too bad imagine what have they done for more illeagally back in the kitchen and behind people Don't go there. To eat Overnight food they are petty

With its cool-looking renew for something on surface, I went in with high hopes. Unfortunately, it is just cool looking,Food is borderline unedible and gloopy. My sesame chicken was bitter because it was burn and habachi food it's not really habachi I heard from delivery man he Told me that they don t have habachi grill in the kitchen chef cooking on the wok I'm Chinese and have grown up with delicious, simply-made Chinese/Asian food. This is not Chinese or even Pan-Asian food. This place just continues to feed into the image that Chinese takeaway food is some horrible stir-fried concoction that's gloopy, and overly sweet. Sometimes the new owner over charge your bill I better tell all people who I know Never going back there again.

I used to really enjoy China cafe. I liked calling and getting the little lady answering "China cafe, help you" I enjoyed everything I ordered. IM no globetrotter but I have tried most fof the other take out Chinese in gboro and China cafe WAS the best. They have now changed owners and have andsome quality control to do. Don't know where to go right now.

China Cafe is a better choice of quality foods for the price/menu. For the previous review, Sesame Chicken is always overcooked and nothing but fried coating. For true flavor experience the Moo Goo Gai Pan. It has the best true chicken portions i have ever experienced for a fast food selection. The soups are great, the vegetables are proportionate and the tastes are better than most (not as salty.) The portions are very generous as is the pricing. I will always recommend.

RUN! RUN! RUN! This food was NASTY. The Sesame Seed Chicken was HARD and DRY. The Vegetable Rice consisted of corn(which is a starch), semi-carmelized onions, huge chuncks of egg. The Vegetable Egg Roll was only Cabbage. Overall the service was very NICE.
