I truly wanted this to be a positive experience. The Dr. Was very helpful and knowledgable. This however, is where the positive experience ends.
There is a tangible disconnect between the Drs and general staff. Special medications being ordered late or not at all. Unclear instructions from the staff to patient. The entire process seemed very laxidasicle and did not fill us with the confidence required to continue any further treatments. We have selected another facility to do the IVF procedure. When preparing to spend upwards of $20000 for treatment, I personally have an expectation of professionalism and accuracy, from the entire staff, not just a handful of employees. I can say that the front desk staff alone was enough to cause us to seek help elsewhere. Completely unprepared to answer any questions, unfamiliar with basic policies and procedures, and to be honest, just rude. On two separate occasions I was greeted with a "hey". No eye contact, No " hi can I help you?" As if I was interrupting or bothering the receptionist.
I cannot comment regarding the medical procedures beyond IUI or success rates. I can say that we were unsuccessful in conceiving to date, but we have also chosen not to continue with this provider. It is very possible that we would have conceived if we had chosen to continue. I however am unwilling to gamble my 20 grand on this place. I believe a quality business begins with quality employees. From the doctors all the way down to the janitor. I also believe that couples who are in our shoes, are making a huge financial sacrifice to try and have a baby with the help of a fertility clinic. Having said that, charging premium prices for less than average service is not acceptable in any business....let alone a business in which the outcome is everything.
